This body of work consists of four videos filmed while traveling through Palestine, Western Sahara, Somaliland, and Taiwan. Each emerged through a different set of constraints: where it was possible to go, how long it was possible to stay, what could be seen, and when the camera had to stop, wait, or remain at a distance. Some images were made while moving through checkpoints, roads, and crossings; others from hotel rooms, car windows, coastlines, and city edges, where the frame was shaped as much by restriction as by choice. These places are not held together by a single political category, but by the unequal conditions under which they are entered, seen, and lived. The project does not treat these places as the same. Each remains distinct, shaped by different limits on movement, visibility, and presence. The films stay with what each journey made possible and what it kept out of reach: interrupted passages, partial views, delayed encounters, and the feeling that the ground itself was being negotiated underfoot.
